5-HTR1A, 5-HTR2A, 5-HTR6, TPH1 and TPH2 polymorphisms and major depression reports a genetics study on major depressive disorder with serotonin system polymorphisms, r6295, rs6313, rs6311, rs7997012, rs1805054, rs1800532 and rs1386494. This is both an ordinary association study as well as a treatment response study.

The study find no association between patients and controls, or between remission and nonremission groups, or between responder and nonresponder groups.
