Biological knowledge bases using wikis: combining the flexibility of wikis with the structure of databases describes shortly the WikiOpener MediaWiki extension, that can be used to include data from web-based database in a wiki. They state that the extension is used in two biological databases (wikis): CHDwiki and YTPdb.
