Brain derived neurotrophic factor Val66Met polymorphism, the five factor model of personality and hippocampal volume: Implications for depressive illness reports a combined personality genetics and neuroimaging genetics study with structural magnetic resonance imaging and with genotyping of the val66met polymorphism in the BDNF gene.

NEO-FFI and DASS-21 was used for the personality assessment.

Five brain regions are examined: Hippocampus, parahippocampal gyrus, superior temporal gyrus, middle temporal gyrus and inferior temporal gyrus.
