Cortical and subcortical 5-HT2A receptor binding in neuroleptic-naive first-episode schizophrenic patients reports a positron emission tomography study with fluorine-18 altanserin radioligand on neuroleptic-naive first-episode schizophrenia patients and healthy control subjects.

No 0.05-significant difference was found in the cerebral cortical region, but the caudate nucleus fell under the threshold.
