The subjects were the neuroimaging substudy of the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging.

Using the radiotracer Oxygen-15-Water PET scans were acquired with a GE 4096.

The subjects were scanned twice with a two year interval.

The neuroimages were analyzed with the SPM2 package (page 2798). A conjunction analysis was performed across the two replicated scans and threshold was set on P<0.005 (uncorrected?) and spatial extend >40 voxels. Since the researchers used SPM2 the brain template was probably in MNI space.
