The complex minds of teenagers: Neuroanatomy of personality differs between sexes reports a structure magnetic resonance imaging study with SPM5/VBM5 voxel-based morphometry, Freesurfer cortical thickness analysis and the NEO-FFI personality questionnaire.

A group of 35 adolescents with 15 males and 20 females were included in the study.
The Canadian group was from 16 up to 17 years old.
The researchers use a large cluster threshold on k>200 and only looked in the frontal and limbic regions at an uncorrected level of P<0.001 (one/two-tailed?) (page 600).
Neuroimaging data was also correlated with Pain Catastrophizing Scale (PCS), but the researchers found no supra-threshold clusters found.
