The emergence of online community leadership is a statistical analysis of features distinguishing leaders in online communities.

Data came from three online groups using the vBulletin software as the message system: Blender artists, Gearbox software and Northern Sounds software.

Among the features was one from sentiment analysis using the AFINN word list.
